A St.Paul Legacy Reimagined
The story of The Eagle Street is deeply rooted in the heart of downtown St. Paul. We are a sports bar located by the Grand Casino Arena (formerly Xcel Energy Center). For over two decades, a beloved neighborhood grille stood proudly just across the street, serving as the go-to destination for countless fans, friends, and families.
It was a place where memories were made, victories were celebrated, and the community came together. After it closed its doors in 2023, the spirit of that institution lingered, and with it, the idea that a new chapter for that legacy was waiting to be written.

The St. Paul Locals Behind the Legacy
The Eagle Street dream was brought to life by co-owners Jim Flaherty and Joe Kasel. Joe, a former owner of the original grille, knew firsthand the passion and tradition that made the establishment so special. Together, with their deep roots in St. Paul, and the existing ownership experience of Pauly's Pub and Grill , they envisioned a new space that would honor that heritage while creating a fresh, welcoming experience. The Eagle Street was born from that vision—a commitment to carrying on a beloved tradition of great food, lively energy, and genuine hospitality.
